Enjoy a Summer of Discovery! Learn to use a variety of media while working on a collection of projects. Our new artists (ages 6-10) will display their works of art for our entire camp as well as their parents on Friday, July 11. Our camp program includes a daily free swim and outdoor excursions and activities as well as afternoon ice cream/popsicle snack and Art Camp T-shirt.

All activities are age and gender appropriate and each art project will allow our campers to discover new things about themselves through a series of projects!  Projects will include:

• Personal object study using charcoals
• Emotions drawing using graphite and ink
• Tie dye
• Landscape painting using watercolors
• Self portraits using a variety of media
• Create a portfolio of projects

We will also learn about:

• brainstorming using our sketchbooks
• color theory
• shading, gradations, and contours
• how emotion influences our works of art
• art work from the masters

2008 Hours and Rates
Daily hours 9:00 am–4:00 pm; extended camp care is also available. Rate for the two-week camp is $400 per camper.
