Our staff is a great tribute to the success of our camp. All staff members are First Aid and CPR certified and are dedicated to working with children in a nurturing and positive manner. Our sports and cheer camp counselors come from a wide variety of sports backgrounds, most of them competing at the varsity levels for their schools. Our eco quest and art counselors have a great talent in their respective areas of interest. All campers will be able to enjoy the variety of personalities and strengths that each counselor brings to our camp programs.

Camp Executive Directors

mMeg Dudek is now in her seventh year of running the DMB Sports Camp. Meg’s background comes from a wide variety of sports-related activities including playing field hockey, soccer, and camogie; organizing activities for her sports clubs; coaching field hockey and lacrosse; and working on the Customer Service staff for the Washington Capitals. When not working at camp, Meg functions as the DMB Sports Group Vice President.

ShaneShane Mills has returned to DMB Sports! Veteren campers will remember Shane from summers 2004 and 2005 when he worked with us as an Assistant Camp Director, and DMB Sports is excited to have Shane join the company full-time as a sports program director and executive director at camp.

News: best wishes to Melissa Ryburn who has moved to CA to fulfill her dream of being part of the relaunch of the women's pro soccer league. She's helping the CA team get their camp program off the ground this year.

Specialty Camp Directors

donDon Ripa returns for his third summer as our Eco Quest Camp Director. Don teaches fifth grade at Cool Spring Elementary and has been involved in education through LCPS for the past 13 years. He believes that education is a way of life and his goal is to provide every child the opportunity to maximize their potential. A fan of hands-on teaching, Don loves science and nature and love to get his hands dirty - and he encourages kids to do the same! In his spare time, Don loves to ride his motorcycle and spend time with his family. He is young at heart and is looking forward to educating kids in a new environment outside of the classroom.

Assistant Camp Directors

Kevin Brewster is a local who attended Park View High School where he was a football athlete. After getting his college degree in criminal justice, Kevin decided that kids are where it's at. So Kevin has secured his teaching certificate and has spent the last two year substitute teaching in Loudoun County, primarily at Sterling Elementary. Kevin also has camp experience, having worked with Loudoun County Park and Rec camp programs. He is also looking for a new camp experience and is looking forward to helping lead our camps this summer.

Counselors

We have a great summer counselor staff this year! Many of our counselors are returning for another great summer and some you may recognize as former Junior Counselors. Not only are our counselors well-versed in sports, art, and nature, but they love kids and are looking forward to sharing their enthusiasm and fun spirits at camp!

Returning counselors include: Missy, Rachel H, Ashwin, Kristen, Kayla, Adam, Jeremy, Matt, Jenni, Lea, Rachael P, and Ali.

New counselors include: Haley, Patrick, Marcus, Chris, Rachel W, Cullen, Paige, Elizabeth, and Ryan.
